Read Five and Decide!

Students in grades 3 - 5 may use the Texas Bluebonnet Tracking Chart to check off Bluebonnet Books read.

January 22, 2027  3:00 pm - deadline to finish quizzes and vote. Students may vote during open periods in the library.

  • August through January, third grade may participate in the Bluebonnet Reading Program -- read 5 and decide!  Students who read five books (3 must be chapter books) of the twenty nominees, complete quizzes for each book to show that they have read them, and then vote on their favorite of the five will be invited to a Bluebonnet Reading Celebration Party in BCE library usually in March. Students should contact Mrs. Bingham in the library to take the quizzes and vote.
  • August through January, grades 4-5 participate in the Bluebonnet Reading Program -- read 5 and decide!  Students who read five books, including at least three chapter books, complete quizzes to show that they have read, and vote on their favorite will be invited to a Bluebonnet Field Trip to BCMS. The field trips are usually in February. Students should contact Mrs. Bingham in the library to take the quizzes and vote.
